The mittens are awesome, but linings? Whoa. You'll be crazy before you finish them (at at Christmas?!!), and for me, men's things take FOREVER. However, they are so great, and Peter would love them, and you!

I vote for leaving the mittens as is - they already have 2 layers! You don't want him to overheat (see, you're just being considerate)!

Those are so on my list of things that I need to knit... if only I could decide what freaking colors I want mine to be! The natural colors look fabulous!
