When i saw that pattern in IK I wondered about the heavy duty cowlness myself. When I saw your photo of it (mug shot or not) I liked it much better (for whatever that's worth) Very nice.

Frankly I always have issues with cowls in that I can never get them to sit the way I want them to. Yours, however, looks fab. I think it's probably 90% attitude, 10% knitted fabric.
