Gravatar You HAVE been busy! The blanket is great, and you ROCK that skirt! Very nice.

Surprises - hee hee, when I was expecting our third, the hubby wanted to know what we were having, and I didn't, so I let the doctor tell him... and I waited for six more months to be surprised! The hubby never let on a clue!

Gravatar That cotton skirt looks fab! You may have cut it close to the bone with the yardage, but you did it nonetheless.

Love the simplicity of the Log Cabin. In hindsight, what color would you have used instead of yellow?

Gravatar The skirt looks fabulous on you, Jen! Very stylish.
Great blanket, too!

Gravatar FO's everywhere! Both the log cabin and you're skirt are great!

Gravatar Both FOs are very nice. I think I've seen the log cabin pattern with narrower stripes but I think I like this better for the baby blanket.

I am so jealous of your skirt. I really like that pattern but am afraid that it will make my hips and backside look even bigger than they already are. You, on the other hand, look great in that skirt.

Gravatar LOVE your Log Cabin Quilt! I'm working on a blanket right now for Project Linus, so this is right up my alley.

Secondly, kudos to you for the skirt! Knitted skirts are scary to me, no matter how small you are. I have a crocheted skirt that I'm terrified to wear, although it's adorable on the hanger.

And last - hurray for the running! Keep it up! 5.5 miles in 1:08 is great!!!

Gravatar The blanket and skirt are wonderful! Obviously the running helps because you look great in the skirt.

Gravatar Very cute blanket. I don't think the yellow looks bad at all. Just brightens it up a little.

Cool skirt - I haven't picked up that issue yet. I should check it out.

Gravatar I'm impressed with anyone who knits a whole skirt! Really came out nice.

Gravatar Congrats on the new nephew-to-be!! Love his blankie. Your skirt is so pretty too - how I wish my butt was small enough to put in a knit skirt. LOL

Gravatar it looks great. and how the hell did you finish it so fast??? i'm impressed!

Gravatar the blanket is lovely and that skirt is really fierce! great work.

Gravatar I love the skirt! So pretty on you.

I'm making that same blanket for a friend's baby. I love the colors you picked out.

Gravatar I love your indigo ripples skirt and I love the color of yarn you chose.

I just started a knit-along for this pattern.
