Hi David, just a question that came up from your photo, and you may have answered this before, if so, sorry I wasn't paying attention - how many students are in your classes?

Also, I can ship you some rabbits over from my Ma's farm in Somerset if you like - they have just eaten her neighbours ENTIRE five acre crop of barley :/.

Hi, I was wondering if these little excursions were built into the curriculum? I am an English teacher in Washington State that is curious about moving to Alaska to teach.

Do you need any school supplies? My 9th graders would love to help. We're from what we thought was a rural town in the Western NC mountains--the nearest Walmart is 40 miles away off the mountain in VA, but we're not as rural as you! Let me know

Ally- I have a sixth grade class of nine. Most of the classes are closer to 15 until high school, where class sizes vary quite a bit. Actually just came from Graduation... three walked.

Matt- Yes, they are. Culture is an important and crucial standard in Alaska.

Lucy- Thank you very much for the offer! This year, believe t or not, each teacher received what they asked for... quite a feat! Perhaps you would be interested in setting up pen pals next year... Let me know.

Thanks for reading!

No thanks necessary - to say I am 'enthralled' sounds OTT, but I am :).
