Well; though I appreciate the sentiment, I generally find these "sense of the Senate (or House)" statements almost unanimously wastes of time and money. I wish they'd buckle down at times like these and either rescind stupid laws, or create meaningful legislation.

I pretty much don't care what the "sense of the Senate" is, personally. I just want them to stick to their job, and let others do theirs (you know -- like that guy they hired to run the Iraq military efforts).
