Mike,

It is disturbing that people could possibly find joy in this situation. Thanks for posting this story.

I like your style. I am glad I found your site. I will be back for sure.

Yeah, I wondered about his 2-faced views *over there*.

*argh*

How can anyone jump for joy over ANYONE'S death, except perhaps terrorists?

*argh*

There is something seriously wrong with a person's thinking if he or she disagrees with someone elses point of view or belief and would like nothing better than to see the person dead. And if the person does die whether by accident, murder, or natural death then he or she would be pleased as plum. Now, we're not talking about terrorists, criminal murderers, despots or tyrannical leaders. We're talking about scums who jump for joy over people's deaths who hold nothing but an opinion or belief on their own values versus others.

A crackpot I'd say to hold such an attitude.

Whenever happened to agree to disagree and let it at that?

Such a sad society.

There are some sick folks in the world who cannot see beyond their own little corner of the universe.

BTW, a correction: the BSA is NOT a Christian organization. Scout troops are sponsored by Jewish synagogues, Buddhist temples, Bah'ai groups, Hindu congregations, and others. All that is required is a belief in a "higher power" (also known as "God"). The BSA is also inclusive of kids and adults who are differently-abled, accommodating their needs at camps and events like the Jamboree.

Thanks March Hare.

Ridor is a little attention whore who relishes other people's misfortunes.

It's more than obvious that he hand picks words out of the thesaurus and fails miserably in his attempts to concoct cohesive sentences with them.

He also fails to realize that just because one is part of a given organization doesn't mean that they abide all of the beliefs outlined by the external facing leaders of the organization. I play hockey with a boy scout leader who has a gay brother and loves him just like anyone would love their brother. Would Ridor have the same reaction if this guy had been one of the four who died?

His choice of words, particularly "4 hearie men dead. Good riddance" reveals only an iota of the rampant ignorance of the members of the Deaf community.

Yeah, it is no surprise that there are people like that who will, without thinking (of course), join his bandwagon for a little whoopee making fun at people's unfortunate deaths. These are the same cruel people who would spare no expenses at making fun of other kids when they were little. We're just seeing the grown-up version here. Sadly though.

From the Oregon coast to Washington D.C., you have your Yahoos across the fruited plains.

I'll be the first one to condemn anybody making fun of a person's unfortunate death. Party affiliation or personal beliefs notwithstanding.

I will condemn such actions. You will condemn such actions. But they won't. Typical but a sad reality.

However, terrorists are not excluded from my condemnations.

Perhaps it's a mere tryst to keep his ratings up whether he means it or not.

I don't think he has any ratings, I sure don't visit his site! I just hear about it.
