wishing ill on others? seems like to be a new conservative mantra.

stock prices go up and down all the time, some years are good and some aren't, the fluctuations are common in any market system.

the new york times doesn't give anyone tool with which to fight american soldiers. it doesn't hunt down republicans with a vengence and it doesn't have a perverse political agenda. if you mean to say that the EDITORIAL page has a left wing slant then absolutely, any paper with college educated writers will be slanted to the left.

any blog with semi-literate writers will lean to the right.

facts of nature.

whoops, that should say "seems like a..."

Hmmm....well, that certainly didn't take long. And, no, I don't want the NYT to go bankrupt or anything like that, just that maybe they'll realize what they're doing isn't working.

If you look at the links I provided, the NYT does give tools to the enemy to fight us. The recent one was the NSA story.

Bless their heart that they held it for another year before reporting. True American blood they have got going there.

Not.

so then you advocate censorship of the media? that way, anything about the government, regardless of how obscure (especially in this case) it is, can be blocked from publication.

THAT is the true american spirit.

No, I don't advocate censorship. It's all about common sense that this is about. It's about protecting America in times of war. It's not about undermining the war with cruel reporting. This isn't about an obscure wanna-be CIA agent in the Plame affair but about the disclosure of sensitive materials that can have a serious impact on the war on terrorism. The NYT didn't have enough sense to see what they were trying to do. I know that their stocks are in decline but that's not an excluse to put the rest of America at peril.

This needs to be investigated and get the person(s) who disclosed national security information.

I don't know why the extremely intelligent media don't understand what the meaning of spying is. Do they think we sit around and tell the world what we're doing???
