Thanks.

Scary! It could happen to ANYONE - innocent civilians set up as scapegoat for this splicing technique. That thought rang through my head. *chills*

Thanks for this great post! As always your posts are good.

And what's interesting is this topic is about lip-reading though Deafread.com probably didn't consider my blog worthy enough (ie "deaf enough") to make it on their "A"-reading list. Though I could be wrong. Just...interesting, that's all.

The media tends to get away with this and there is no accountability on the media's reporting. Things like this one is a seriious issue because it is not what she said but it is what the media thinks she said.

The media must report what the person said and back it up on tape or video.

This is becoming a very dangerous trend and can lead to something that we do not want in the first place.

That's why we have we have bloggers to help ensure accountability by the media. Remember the "fake but accurate" CBS Bush memo? The story was broke by Little Green Footballs challenging the authenticity of the CBS Bush memo and brought about the downfall of CBS and the ouster of a delusional Dan Rather.

reminds me of a YouTube film not long ago, where Amy Cohen-Efron clipped a tape of JKF speaking. Later, JKF mentioned it during her interview with Joel Barish. Interesting, huh?
