What's funny, the odds are in the next 40 years we'll have two or three volcanos pop their cork a la Mt. Pinatubo and induce global cooling. The size of Pinatubo's blast was enough to cool the earth upward by almost 1 degree Centigrade over 2 to 3 years. Bigger one like Tambora caused a global cooling of 3 degrees Centigrade.

It wasn't too recently that a scientist suggested that too much greenery on the planet was warming everybody up too much. Green absorbs heat. Ice reflects it.

Colorado was supposed to be in a drought mode, but in the last week, we've had 3 storms dump a ton of snow, with more on the way this weekend.
I'm going snowboarding next week and I'll be laughing about drought.

If you think about it, I'd rather have global warming than cooling. The "Little Ice Age" killed more people than during more warmer climes. Less crop, more diseases, etc.

More crops are being grown in more northern Latitudes (further north). What's more, because of the increasing CO2 more plants are growing and predicted to spread further north by 100 km more. Plants (green colored leaves/needles) absorb CO2 in order to survive like we breathe oxygen that plants transpire for us to live.

Yep! It just shows us what we know about out planet! We are not even close to unveiling all the mysteries it has to offer... But I do look forward to hearing about them and learning just that much more.

Can anyone tell me why the UE CO2 calculator tells me my car that uses under 30 kilos of diesel to do a journey of 400 miles will supposedly emit 36 kilos of CO2?????
