From Psalms 75, the page to which the bible with the bullet cross picture is set:

That's verse 7 and it seems to contradict praising with bullets. Then there's verse 10:
All the horns of the wicked also will I cut off;
Got to love the clear, unambiguous word of god. (no, I will not capitalize god or in any other way honor that mythology.)
I think banning the "mentally ill" from buying weapons is incredibly problematic, since as a group they are stigmatized enough anyway which keeps people from seeking out services they could otherwise use. Theoretically the mentally ill ought to have as much right to self-protection as anyone else. Besides the fact that diagnoses tend to fall heavily along racial and socioeconomic lines. I think guns in bars, on the other hand, is just royally dumb. I know I've done enough stupid things while I've been drunk and around other people that having a gun and being drunk around other people seems like a patently bad idea.
