I cannot believe that a civilised country like the U.S.A. just cannot get its shit together and provide all citizens an equitable health care system that works! There are plenty of models all over the world that work (mostly) that would provide a usable model. I fell this week and broke my wrist, I have no private medical insurance, I went to my local A. and E. had examination, X-Ray, and cast for a total of NZ65 Dollars (about 40 US). All follow up care is free. What would happen to me in the U.S.? I would probably have to set my own wrist and hope for the best!
