Good grief. Since my dear father-in-law passed away on May 29th, it's been someone I've heard of everyday. Someone has planned a party somewhere, and we living are not invited. On our 2007 trip to London, our Nikon D40 was stolen right off our chair in plain view in a small restaurant just of High st. It was very naive of us to leave our camera so vulnerable in a large city, but I couldn't believe it was taken so easily without any of us even noticing.

His filmography was absolutely Kevin Bacon-ish. I've been amazed at all the times I've seen him in TCM classics.
