This blog is way left of center...

Gravatar cool!!!

Gravatar Pussy blogging is always good, but today's edition was exceptional. Full front-faced Tot loaf, what a treat! And a drunk kitteh. Sir, you have outdone yourself.

Gravatar From that last angle Tot looks like a Viking Longboat as seen from above the bow.

Gravatar What's the new kitty's name? She does look like she curled up after one too many glasses of wine.

We have a used bookstore two blocks off that has a kitty named ISBN. Maybe I'll try to get a pick soon.

Chicken soup for the soul!

Gravatar Just looking at the kitties makes me smile.

Gravatar Love those kittehs. I must shoot some more pics of mine to post.

Maisy will never pose, though. She sees the camera, then shoots me a quick "fuck you" look and tears off. You have to sneak up on her.

Marley, on the other hand, well he's a big old ham. As TRex said, it is rumored that his father is an aubergine.

Sissy is VERY skittish, but if I catch her while she's relaxing, and I don't do any quick jerking movements, I can get some shots at least.

Gravatar Sissy looks like a pale version of our two (well, sadly, now just one) torties. My 15 year experience says that they are very skittish and temperamental. Is Sissy that way? She certainly has that tortie deep in thought look.Is she also really vocal or do the other two kitties steal her thunder?

Our younger cat, Mouse, used to be really quiet until the older one passed on. Now she's even louder than her great auntie.

Gravatar Sissy will sometimes sing for no reason at all. But when I go to take a nap, she will grunt, and purr, and chirp, and basically mold me into submission.

So, yes, she can be vocal when she wants to. And she does.

Gravatar Not only your cute kitties, but a glimpse of the 2009 Ultimate Truck Guide. Oh my!

Gravatar There's a little Dilute Tortie (named C.B.) that lives at the birdseed store I shop at. Now that I think of it, a "Retail Pussy" edition of the usual Friday fare would be fun. I'd like to see other people's neighborhood store kitties. I'll send one of C.B. along with her interesting little story.

(Sorry, kona. This is not my blog. I didn't mean to take over...)

Gravatar Great idea! Send photos. I love feline contributions.

Gravatar Maisy is a tortie! Maybe that's why she's so bloody skittish.

Also, she came to us from the streets. I suspect the only reason she deigned to associate with humans in the first place was that she was pregnant (which we didn't know at first, ha) and needed shelter and food. Wow, did that food ever agree with her, and wow, did she ever get chubby around the waist, until one day Robert was looking at her from above and said, Hey this pear-shaped cat is going to have kittens!

Which she did, Marley being the one we kept. I'm sure I've told you this story before. (The other five all have great homes.)

Gravatar I went to the world famous Eggs Farm on Sunday and got photos and video of their cute little kitten with momma. I think she was a dilute tortie (never heard the phrase before, but it makes sense - she was light gray and light tan mottled). Let me know when the Retail Pussy edition comes out.

I have a similar kitty story. She was a street cat that knew our house was just the perfect place to give birth. She was right!
