You know, I was thinking earlier that it is SUCH a Captain's chair!! But it doesn't come on a pedestal nor does it have any cool buttons... I guess those would drive the cost even higher.

I tried the Aeron. Nice. Very nice. But it didn't give me a blow job on my back side.

And it is worth noting that txrad (despite having discovered that I am gay) didn't find this chair all that appealing for him.

And I replied, "I'm buying it for me, not you."

It is adjustable, and I would recommend that anyone attempting such a purchase ask the staff to demonstrate the chair's adjustment potential and see if it's a right fit. I just happened upon one that was adjusted damn near perfectly for my height I guess.

It will be interesting when my chair arrives, to play around with the settings and see if txrad changes his mind about this.

You've gotten a good price for what you're getting, and not having back or pelvic back from a bad chair is invaluable. Ten years ago I went through all sorts of bizarro medical tests, some internal (!!), for mysterious "lower quadrant pain" and the docs couldn't figure it out. One day I just had a sudden hunch that it was my anti-ergonomic office chair and my boss let me order a new one. The pain permanently departed. Follow your pillowy bliss, konagod!
