Wow! Cool story! Of course, I was in on the story from the new agency's point of view. Lots of excitement about you two coming to work in Austin! I remember your first day there. An interesting aside...I started at the agency doing data entry for nearly no money...but, that didn't last long, as I was promoted into client services. Those were good days to get started in advertising. I owe my present career to that company.

Signed the contract on the house we owned in L.A. a week before Northridge. Only time in my life I've paid for two inspections on the same house.... Was a hella wake-up call, wasn't it?

I can't believe you got that much house at that time for $175,000!
