I'm probably just too old to (I guess the word would be) appreciate TIVO. I don't have it and see zero need for it. First, I intensely dislike anything that I have to pay a monthly fee for, I have enough folks/products that do that to me, I don't feel the need to add another. Second, I don't think there is all that much on TV to keep me glued to it. If I threw my TV away tomorrow, I'd miss it for about 5 minutes, then I'd get on with life. Finally, while it's a supposed 'ancient technology' my VCR works great. I know how to program it, it automatically skips commericals for me. I see ZERO need for a TIVO - just one man's opinion.
