There are those who actively seek traffic and those who dont. Just as there are successful blogs and those that are not.

I'd agree with aforementioned comments. if this was in fact designed to derive profit, i'd agree, however as you can see I'm not deriving a profit from pasting a link to a website.

I fail to see what is not nice about blogging a note and link to something which is of cultural significance.

The fact that a ringtone can beat other music in the popular music charts indicates the fascination with technology truly is far reaching into our everyday lives.
