The Liberals have serious problems in that they are such a rabble in nearly every state that they are unelectable, even in the face of some fairly incompetent Labor governments. They would be in power in NSW, WA and possibly other states if they gave voters an even vaguely competent alternative, but they couldn't manage that. Their challenge at the federal level is not to degenerate to the same type of rabble as their state counterparts.

And voting in the Libs for another three years would not have produced totalitarin rule? Sounds like sour grapes to me- the People of Australia have spoken, they voted out a PM that lied (There will neve be a GST?) showed poor management (AWB scandal) and aligned itself with a policy of agression towards other nations, thereby increasing our risk of terrorism. Time will tell if Rudd is worse than Howard, but the people have spoken; I gues you didn't agree with the democratic majority?

HAHA! Howard fucking lost!
Don't worry Rudd will still do the same scummy things Howard did if you're that worried about anything like worker's getting more rights or anything.
