Oh Sis,
This was not a boring post. I am sorry you are sad. I won't pertend to knowhow you feel about Ethan going to school. Maybe he somehow knows about them wanting him at school, and maybe that is why he was fussy?
Ya Think?
Well try to have a good evening. Love ya sissy.

No medication is needed. I assure you. You have a desire to help others and to take the special moments for what they truely are, magical.

Adopt a polo player - great idea! Crying at big life events isn't normal? (No one told me)
It sounds like the beginning of great adventures for all of you.

What did you have for your "really neat dinner"?
Was it the food that made it really neat or did you plan something special that made it neat?
Or was it something spontaneous that happened?
Do I ask to many questions? Oh, there was another question.
I'm glad it was really neat.

uh oh, you'll turn into me if you're not careful! Actually it's the thought of all those milestones that get you choked up not the actual events. It's good to see them become such wonderful people!
There's always a water polo player in need of a cheerleader.
And yes, I agree E was probably upset at the thought of school too!

We have had a night before school ritual ever since my kids started attending school.
It is strictly a family affair.
A carefully selected menu. A beautifully set table. Litte gifts and treats. Pencils, and things. Nothing fancy. Long conversations about the forth coming year. Goals, expectations, reservations.
Blessings and family prayer.
Surprise treats in backpacks, notes of affirmation and encouragement.
That is what I mean, by a neat dinner.

It's been awhile, been gone-- but am catching up. Life events.. are troubling yes?
But, without them, how could we grow.... I try, try hard, to remind myself of that-- especially lately. Take care!

We had our "last-first" here, too. This will be a busy year for both of us: college apps., FAFSA (argh!), graduation announcements, open houses, last performances in plays, etc. Fortunately, Meli is READY to be finished with high school and head off to Ball State. She'd go yesterday if we let her. Enjoy your year with Vix. We can't get them back.
