Its really NOT a brutal mid-term for the GOP. Lets be honest... with the way they have run some things... a strong bid by the Communist Party would have resulted in about the same showing.

This fell into the Dems lap and should act as a wake-up call to Republicans... but hey I want two years of this country getting to know Nancy Pelosi so that McCain or Guiliani look that more attractive in '08...

The Dems are still a joke and that this is even a contest suprises me... keep spending money in places like Kansas and Nebraska Howard Dean... seriously that is a great strategy...guys like Razum love it... long live Howard Dean as head of the Dems!!!!!

For the record I'm not a huge fan of Howard Dean. He has hurt the left more than he has helped it. He flies off the cuff with ridiculous statements and apparently learned nothing from Clinton about the importance of moderation in American politics. By the way, I spent six hours at the Clinton Presidential Library in Little Rock last Thursday. Awesome building ... you'd even like it.

The Dems can leave Kansas, Nebraska and Indiana alone and concentrate on Ohio, Kentucky and Tennessee, where they have a real shot.

1. Come up with a different plan for Iraq
2. Don't spend money like druken sailors

Unfortunately I don't see the Dems being effective on either point.
