Thanks! I thought adding David Cameron's address might elicit a response. However, I note that it is a typical politician's retraction. No apology, no admission of guilt. But then, unlike Melanie Phillips, at least he sent a response.

Yeah, I received automated mail when I recently complained to Sky (owned by Murdoch) - perhaps I shouldn't have been surprised. The BBC on the other hand, a personal response. Which says a lot for the BBC in my book.
As for believing what they read, I guess they all want to suck up to The Scum, Steve. After all, Murdoch pulls the strings, eh?
