Mask of Anarchy

Gravatar Hey ass wiper,

Events in World War II have nothing to do with Berlusconi, your attempts at propaganda are pathetic. And neither is "private ownership" the foundation of right wing ideology, it's private ownership is a capitalist relationship with land and the commodity that has developed from the fiefdom of bygone eras. It can be either "left" or "right" depending on whatever meaningless labels you want to apply. Get over your misinformation schtick, anarchism is neither left nor right, it is a way of living in the world. And sorry, but unlawful residents in Italy, anarchist communes, or any where else, are not sacrosanct.

For revolution,
BANA

Gravatar um, surely Berloscni and his supporters are the ones who started the WWll allusions- Falange, il Duce, not massively unrelated to historical fascism...
"unlawful residents" oh why not just call them untermensch and be done with it Otto.

Gravatar I'd kick out any kidnappers or murders from my collective too.

Gravatar BANA - Nice opening remark. As RickB points out, it was Berlusconi who drew a link with WWII, not me.

Having had a peruse at your site I am rather disturbed by your own perversion of anarchist principles. National Anarchism is an entirely disreputable variation of anarchist thought. Your belief that there is such a thing as 'unlawful residents' who should be punished by the state, merely underlines your lack of anarchist credentials.

Gravatar Actually korova it appears that the state was protecting the Roma who were having their squats firebombed after angry residents retaliated for an attempted kidnapping by a 16 year old Roma. Anarchist principals have a broad back and are not nearly as inflexible as you presume. Times change, ideas evolve, and the struggle continues.

Gravatar Yes, and how many times have we heard such lies about gypsies apparently kidnapping (or attempting to) small children?? It's one of the oldest tricks in the book.

Gravatar "National Anarchism"

Fuck me, I've heard everything now.

Gravatar Almost as absurd as that comment at Biased BBC that anarchism was a right-wing concept. Perhaps they were thinking of "National Anarchism"??!

Gravatar The BBC was making reference to anarchisms presumed instance on libertarian freedom which has, historically speaking, always been a right wing principle. Liberalism is intrinsically anti-libertarian: "you are not enlightened enough to make the correct decisions for yourself so the State has to nanny you." So the BBC is correct but only in a certain sense. In the larger historical context anarchism has been mostly overshadowed by anarcho-communism (e.g., Marxist anarchists) who have a long standing amnesia and disregard for why the First Internationale imploded in the first place. National Anarchism is not so extraordinary when compared to National Bolshevism or most versions of Primitivism.
