The Twins trotted out their worst reliever in a crucial situation and pitched to Manny with first base open. He made them pay two games in a row in the 8th inning. Props to Manuelito, but I have to shake my head and wonder about Mr. Gardenhire's bullpen management.
Still, the Twinkies have looked OK at Fenway. Maybe this afternoon they can be on the plus side of a one-run game. Maybe.
And Mr. Favre? Couldn't agree more.
i just want to take brett favre aside and say, "um, mr. favre? i have two words for you. micheal jordan."
Oddly enough, I am outside MKE this week and local Packer fans I spoke with here agree, Favre should stay retired.
What series at Fenway? The Boston who? Booooof? Oh, we in Minnesota may wish this never happened, that the brilliant winningness of the last few weeks would have actually counted for something more than second place (and falling) in a weak division. But of course the results are all too real and not very pretty.
Glad we could brighten Kristen's week. See ya in the playoffs.
