Could the red Sox please sweep the White Sox this weekend? I would like that very much because...
A: The Red Sox are good and the White Sox are evil, so a Red Sox sweep would serve the ends of justice and truth;
B: A Red Sox sweep would probably put them (or keep them) on top in the wild card race; and
C: The loveable cuddly Twins really need the help.

Oh, I would much rather have the Twins beating up on lesser teams like the Oaklands and the Seattles, but their timely hitting (until this week, the Twins had the best average in the AL with RISP) has suddenly deserted them. I know I'm being selfish and desparate and emabarassing, but please help. For the good of humanity.

If he hadn't been responsible for 50% of the team's runs scored, nobody in Pittsburgh would have even noticed Jason Bay.

Speaking of the Pirates, they've dropped seven in a row. Six more losses and they're famous for pretty much the worst possible reason. I predict they'll accomplish this feat in... six games. Stay tuned.
