I've been having that same reaction to the Sam Cassell headlines, and I barely even watch football. Clearly you have had a strong influence on me over these many months. (Well, and my Pats fan roommate. The blame can be shared.)
You know, I listened to Air Supply on my T ride home this afternoon. Their music is made of rainbows and unicorns and smiles, much of the same stuff I believe the Red Sox are made of.
And yes, I do have their greatest hits on my iPod, why do you ask? People just need to embrace their love of this embarassingly fantastic band.
You know, I'll bet the damn Kowloon band doesn't know any Air Supply either.

I was going to say the same thing. No way does the Kowloon band know Air Supply. And they are emotionally and mentally poorer for it.
