You jinxed the no-hitter. Well-played.
The blown save was not Closer Boy's fault. He had an equipment problem and was distracted by that guy with the bright orange neon hat.
(IF there was a blown save. Nothing has been proven yet.)
Randy Moss has a chance to be every bit as successful with the Patriots as Terrell Owens has been with the Eagles.

There is a connection (tenuous) between Mr. Moss and baseball. Some years ago, when Moss was a Viking, he had a little traffic mishap in Minneapolis in which a traffic control officer ended up on the hood of Mr. Moss's SUV. A legal brouhaha ensued. In the first week of the following baseball season, the loveable independent St. Paul Saints (co-owned by Mike Veeck and Bill Murray) sponsored "Randy Moss Hood Ornament Night" at the ballpark. I am the proud owner of one of those hood ornaments, a cheesy plastic replica of a football receiever.
By the way -- we in Viking land do not miss Randy Moss, though lately we've kind of missed winning.

when you jinxed the no-hitter, did you even dare to hope that Hughes would also end up on the DL?
