On the morning of the televised Prince concert, the local Minneapolis paper ran some pictures of him as a kid, including one from when he played on the Bryant junior high school basketball team. Yes, basketball.
Something else was on CBS yesterday, too. My little sister in Indianapolis and my big sister in Chicago were all excited, but I do not remember why.

PS: The Twins signed AL MVP Justin Morneau to a one-year deal, thus avoiding arbitration. Somehow, this huge sports story escaped the national media.

And your book list should, at least in MY opinion, include the Lou Gehrig bio, so well-written that it brought me to tears. It's called THE LUCKIEST MAN. I will NEVER forget reading it...the man, gone way too soon, was amazing!!
