I'm doing the old fashioned morning search for scores here...not even bothering to check the paper, just watching the bottom line or doing the sick wait for ESPN.com to pop up, silenting rooting as if my wishes for what has already occured will ever have any impact.
Anyway, hoorah.
I'd like to think that the postgame hoping of all of us red sox fans actually does have an effect. I mean, it's Seattle... so technically if we go to bed before the game starts it hasn't REALLY happened yet, right?
