Oooooh, I love the colours you've chosen |
What a great color combination for your mittens. I love the 2 knits you made for the girls too, just gorgeous and they are so cute in them too. |
You still seem to have a fairly clear colour sense peeping out from all the clouds of over-information! I sometimes feel overwhelmed by all I've learned from interknitting: wanting to start or correct something, knowing that I've read about it somewhere before, spending hours searching for it and learning all sorts of new things and by the end of it I feel unable even to approach the knitting! One of my new year's resolutions is to worry less and cast on more. You seem to be doing OK though; that blue and brown look beautiful together |

The mitts are amazing. I really like the color combination. Your fairisle looks perfect. |
Pretty colors. I had to frog my mitts. I'll be starting them back up with different yarn soon. |
The mitt looks very nice. Good colors. the more I see of that pattern, the more I want a pair. Sigh. I know what you mean about blogs, but I guess all that information does make us better knitters in the long run. Right? |
great color choices! and it looks like you'll have another fo in no time |
I love the colors you chose for these. I have this on my list too. Yay for jumping in an doing some Fairisle! You go! They will be lovely I am sure. Also it's a wonder what a good blocking will do. To bad it won't help my Pirate mitts though... |
Great colors! Those endpaper mitts are very elegant. Funny that we are talking about the same thing, I didn't know it was called yarn dominance! |
Oooh, lovely mitts. It's scary how much information is out there these days, nothing like being over-informed to make one feel inadequate. |
I love the colors you chose - just beautiful! |
Oh, I know it. Reading all these blogs and the stranded KAL has put me off my fairisle completely. I kind of like it when I don't realize what I'm not doing well, you know? Ah, well. Guess I have to bring up my standards. Sigh. |
superduper colorcombo!!!lovely!! apart from that - I am completely speechless and chin-dropped and drooling over your ever up-popping FOs! Send me some of that mojo, please! |
your first fair-isle in 20-25 years... surely you could not have been knitting in the womb |
the whole dominant yarn thing is pretty amazing. it really does make a difference! |
Pretty. I bought yarn to make me a pair! I'm a little scared, though. |
How neat is that thing!!!!!! Does it work well? (I have pet hair and footprints galore!) |
Your fairisle looks great. I am doing corrugated ribbing for the first time ever, and mine is too tight. We'll see what blocking can do. |
