I think it's funny that you are doing a sock a month and so am I! You are to blame for my rather large sock stash as I feel I am to blame partly for yours! If you need support to egg you on to get your sock done I will be your biggest cheerleader. Please do the same for me as I feel my latest sock for March may not happen....

Love all of your socks and glad to have you back!

Isn't Ravelry just the biggest time suck ever?
I think I've blogged about FOs and then realise that no - it was only Flickr and Ravelry.

and it's not just the writing less, I'm reading fewer blogs now too. You're still one of them :]

Ooh, I can't wait to see what you non-finish next!

Good to see you back in blogland!

hipp hurra!! here is one other knitter who obsessively will follow your progress - and please no yarn photos - they make me want to buy things. Your 3 first months look extremely promising!!

it is really good to see you, kris. it has been ages. i saw you on flickr and ravelry and commented there, but the blog just has a more personal feel. so, thanks for posting!

i wish i had the discipline and fortitude to make socks for every month. i definitely have enough yarn! i love the varied colors you are working with.

my best wishes~

Sounds like a plan. I'm really loving that first pair -- off to check out the details on Ravelry now...

Well hello!

Yay! Year of socks! Why wasn't I informed earlier - now it's already March....
You left me curious with the language, too... russian? japanese? spanish? :-O

Yay! Welcome back! And it's doubly nice since you included socks!

I'm a regular yarn-voyeur on your blog, though not a regular commentor. But I'd like to say it's nice to see you back. I considered doing Elizbeth Zimmerman's Knitter's Almanac this year... but by January 15th I could already tell I wouldn't be able to swing it this year. So tusen takk...

Glad to have you back!! The sock plan is great. I'd like to do the same if it all works out! The knee highs are going to be amazing! That is a lot of teal!

Well they are great socks! Good luck with your plan, I ought to try and knit a pair a month and not just one sock. I am having trouble with second sock syndrome!

Good to see you!

YAY!
What language is that?
I tried that plan lat year. You are clearly a better person than me.

Glad to see that you are back! Looks like amazing socks are popping up all over blogland, but I really like your sock a month idea. I am looking forward to seeing what new patterns you use!

i'm glad to see you back! i just don't keep up with flickr and ravelry like i do blogs wow, a pair of socks a month! great idea! wish i had the time to do it with you.

funny you should mention the whole project-a-month thing. I was just looking around on the web for something like a pair of sock a month KALs or a hat a month KAL yesterday (didn't join any, btw).

welcome back.

Yay for socks! I really need to dig out that Cat Bordhi book. Bartholomew's Socks are certainly tantalizing - especially in that wonderful yarn.

socks are lookin' goooooood.

what is it about Bergen that leads people to do the obsessive thing?? huh

so glad to see you back again, I am some what following in your tracks but I have to get all the technical things together before I really reveal

with all those lovely socks... I'm sure that you can do a pair a month... and I love browsing your stash... yum!

great to see you back :0)

welcome back!
those knee socks are fantastic. as are the others, but you know. they really caught my eye.

love the socks!
good to have you back!!!

Lovely work! I like the color of those kneehighs very well, and the spey valley socks really do need to go on my queue.
