Brilliant work Kris- it looks fantastic on and such a versitile handy garment. I think I want one too. One day... So glad you had enough yarn to finish it! Very clever mods you used too.

I made some Yulecaka. It smells so good. Wanna see???

I squealed when I saw this, because I am wearing my Bloom right now! Same colour too! I love mine and wear it a lot, looks fantastic with your mustard shirt.

i love how you altered the short rows! and mustard plus grey is a very charming combination you.

Hi There! Just stopping by for a visit. I'm having a contest on my blog and people need to tell me their favorite blog and yours is one listed Lovely vest!!

Beautiful! I've seen a few of these, and never realized that it was knit side-to-side. Bravo for making all those mods to squeeze a sweater out of three balls of yarn!

brilliant!

I love vests right now!

This is lovely.

Very pretty - it looks great on you!

very cute. love the dash of color with the mustard shirt!

So the more and more I ask for your finished knits, will that increase my chances of actually getting them? Awesome sweater, Kris!

Oh, it's just lovely. And really? Only 3 balls??? hmmmm...
(Also, I just cast on for a mustard and grey ski sweater. I hope it's more chic than it sounds.)

Ah, aren't happy endings the best.

I love the vest!

I just put a mustard and gray outfit together last week. No handknits were involved, but I do like that color combo!

Oh, your color combo is great! And very clever mods I've been petting Felted Tweed at my LYS, and to think that this vest only takes 3 balls is very tempting...

Beautiful vest! Now I want to knit the same.

I LOVE it. And I love a happy ending!

I saw your beautiful vest on Whip Up - it looks great with that yellow shirt. I am pulling out my #36 now!

This is coming up in my queue very soon. Seeing yours makes me want it even more. And the color combo here is perfect!

Oooh, I love the tweed and the pattern is such a simply elegant piece. The wee caps on the shoulders are just right for you, too.

Mustard!

So pretty - and I'm glad the yarn fairy cooperated!

very pretty indeed and you made it! i hate running out of yarn!

Pretty pretty!

I've been tempted by Bloom a couple of times. it's a great look over a T or Tneck. Your mods are great and you ended up with a perfect fit! Nice work.

Thank goodness you have a happy ending! Clearly, you made the right choice about the shoulders. I can't imagine you with wider "flaps", yuck. This is such a simple, classic vest, but so perfectly in style right now. Lovely!

It looks gorgeous, flattering, and seriously wearable.

wow that was some serious MacGyver knitting!! I was in suspense the whole time. Great Job, love the pairing with the yellow undershirt!
