Gravatar It starts out with a mistake - Mobil was not a "británico". The rest isn't worth commenting on.

Gravatar More sabre rattling. All of the oil analysts are already commenting that Chavez is bluffing. The market has already recovered. I think Chavez is foolish but, he knows he needs us more than we need him at this point. My fathers impression is that if the shortages continue Chavez is going to continue lose popular support. People are starting to feel fatigue. I love that he cant understand why despite having infrastructure to support rice farming in Barinas that their is undeveloped land and rice shortages at the same time. Populist economics is failing him and he doesn't know why.

Gravatar Perhaps I am biased by my politics and national origin, but in listening to Hugo, my reaction is that he comes across as a blowhard, as a clown.
At the same time, while I may laugh at such a pathetic performance, it appears that the crowd did not. Hugo knows, or thought he knew, his audience.

Gravatar Steve, when has Chavismo ever been concerned with accuracy? BTW, who cares about accuracy when we are in war
