I sent you a tweet but just wanted to say I am SO proud of you. 20 pounds...that's my goal.
I FINALLY got the Fat Smash Diet book. The great thing is...it's more of a lifestyle change, NOT a diet, which is cool.
The uncool thing is that I can't eat meat for the next 7 days and I am eyeing a steak right now...LOL!!!!
I also got a Wii and got the EA Sports Active game. IT KICKS MY BUTT EVERYTIME. My thighs are screaming out 'give us free' HAHAHAHHAHAA!!!
Thanks lady! I've been wanting to pick up Fat Smash - I really like Dr. Ian. Any plan you choose will work as long as you stick to it most of the time.

I would tell anybody, don't look at anything that specifically advertises it's nutrional value, or touts itself as low fat, sugar or calories, because most of that stuff is horrible. You just have to find food that is GOOD first good for you second. That's how I eat "most" of the time.

I am really enjoying Eat This Not That about grocery shopping and reading labels.
Along with the diagrams and food comparisons there is a lot of great information that makes you really think about what you eat.

Congrats on dropping 20 lbs!
Do you have flat feet? When I started up on the treadmill a couple of years ago, my knees and ankles were KILLING me. I went to a store called Run For Your Life. They had me stand barefoot on the floor, and told me right off that I had flat feet. I never knew. As soon as I got sneakers for flat feet, all those problems went away. I hated it every time I saw the price tag on those sneakers, but it definitely helped in the long run.
I will be the first to admit that I'm horrible when it comes to processed foods and things like that. I definitely need to do better.

@ Marillie, I don't have flat feet but my arches collapse when I walk/run - that's what they told me @ the Dr's & the running store.

Hi, new to your blog (from 1969's blog) and just want to say that as a health and nutrition expert, I think you are doing it all RIGHT. In order to sustain any weight loss, you must be enjoying your life. That means weekly "whatever" (Margaritas sound great!) and YES, a glass of wine with dinner sometimes.
Remember, it's what you do "most of the time" that matters. Oh,and you look fabulous in that dress. Keep up the good work!
