It's *very* important that the Kurds turn out in record numbers for this first election, being those that will be voted in will be writing the constituion. They should push hard for a 'confederation' style of republic; one where 3 or 4 major regions have extensive autonomy (though the rights of the minorities must be guaranteed even within that). I really think all parties would agree to this. he U.S. tried this form of government first, but didn't properly fund the national level government nor gave it sufficienct control over inter-state affairs, so it failed.

Kurds feel uncertain futur!
So far when comes to deal with kurdish issue history repeat itself. It seems to me, we kurds haven't learend anything from our pasts and this time most of the kurds going legitimatize thier oppression for another 80 years in the artificial panarabism Iraq. This time no one can be blamed except the kurds themselves. This card will be always use against the kurds and tell them u have vote for it and take away from them what we ve gained for the last 14 years.
