Release Anfal would be OK; as long as they do so in Kurdish territory, and publicly announce when and where.

Seriously, all the Kurdish elected officials should protest most strongly against this man's release until he has gone through the court system and witnesses are called. After that, there will be little chance of him doing anthing other than rotting in Jail or getting his neck stretched.
