This really is a good help for bucket trucks. It will be a good option in case something happens to the bucket that you're standing in. Common bucket trucks have a 55'height. Thanks for sharing.

That brings back some memories; I haven't been in one of those cherry-pickers in years. We never wore any kind of harness, but we rarely had to get much over 30 feet to work on a power transformer.

back in the fifties I worked derricks in a drilling rig...about 120 foot up. No lanyards...we had a shoulder harness and it was tied off to a piece of 3/4" manila rope...safe enough I reckon...
