But none of those Libs understand that.
Their arrogance makes them think they're immune to that law.

A small bit of research on Sen. Cornyn's web site would produce a lot more information. Sens. Hutchison and Cornyn are sponsoring legislation to suspend the enthanol mandate, which has distorted the market for energy. See also

I wrote the one letter a month ago in reference to the alternative energy boondoggle,,,this is the reply I got in my e-mail yesterday...from that letter.
Who am I supposed to believe?
None- he's a polititian, so it's whichever seems the best lie at the time.

I'm for John as well, but he is still a politician and we all know about that. I guess being a Texan we expect our reps to be above it all, but as indicated in his response it's full of double talk.

It's all well and good having these delusional ideas about keeping the SUVs on the road, but John Oilyn says it himself; from your post "in order to help alleviate the rising food prices Americans ..." Is he suggesting that America is throwing the towel in regarding grain exports? Perhaps if oil was taken off the futures markets, sanity might prevail.

Yeah, those oil profiteers on Wall Street have a lot to do with the price right now.
The other reason that the oil is so high is that the Dems/Libs?Greenies/Environmental-extremist wakos refuse to let us use our own oil- OR build nuclear power plants.
We have easily as much- or more oil in the ground as Saudi- and thats just easy to get to oil onshore.
The ONLY thing ethanol is doing is using MY tax money to make 'Big Ag' richer.
They get Federal subsidies for the corn(well because they're farmers), my tax money is thrown at their pals in the ethanol industry as more subsidies and incentives.
I'm paying more for fuel AND food because ethanol gives less MPG than gas.
AND we're STILL not using our own oil until something feasable can come online in about 20 years.
If or when something viable comes up to replace petrolium, it will be the private sector that does it.
