Okay, all partisan politics aside, this is a serious question. Why doesn't Miller consider running for Lexington Mayor? Teresa Isaac is clearly not going to be re-elected and there are no strong Republican challengers out there either. He would be a shoo-in.
Additionally, it sets him up for higher office. He isn't tied to the successes or failings of a Governor (if a Democrat wins in '07) like he would be if he was a constitutional office holder and he would be in good position to run for Congress or governor in four more years.
