Where Have You Gone, Andy Van Slyke?

I guess I'm in the minority because I like the tone of the Q&A. I get the feel that the way Dejan writes it, he is being less a reporter and more of a fan that gets to talk to players. With that comes saying things that don't always make sense or that may even contradict each other, just like we do in our blogs. Good journalists upset people sometime because they take risks. If you want a straight forward Q&A read Ed Eagle's Pirate Mailbag.

And I think I'm going to stop there cause my mind got carried away and I may post about this myself.

I guess it is true that the setting seems to be a little more informal. My problem is that sometimes Dejan seems to cover up not knowing or being wrong with comments like the one about actually going out to see the games.

Did you see an email on Charlie's blog, I wanted to email him to let him know I posted a response but I don't want to create an account to leave comments.

Thanks for the link, Patrick. I too thought of your piece when I read that sentence about drawing a diamond... I wonder if Kovacevic read it?

Dejan DOES know more than you do. He's in the locker room every day and has access to talk to every player and every manager in the NL. Why wouldn't he know more than someone who is completely on the outside?
