What an insightful post! Sadly I believe that one day we'll all have to have a super high tech, internet not optional 24/7 connection. While I believe that things are beneficial I believe there can be too much of a good thing.
i'm convicted. i confess i have made an idol out of this technology and have been quite discontent even after replacing my very faithful 7-year-old 3310. i believe the more we let worldliness into our hearts, it will get harder and harder to stifle it. i have just bought a new phone with so much better features, but after a week or two, i've been craving for something better. i'm sure when i get that "better" phone, i'll still be discontent and crave for something even "better". be careful not to fall into the trap i have gotten into. God has been teaching me to be content and your post has been used of Him to hit me bulls-eye. May He bless your ministry here online
