How do we know they were 4 lbs.? We asked the waitress, of course, since LB has to have accuracy for blog fodder! Not only was the waitress amused, she was as amazed as we were. We've seen bigger lobster, but never one being dismembered, in anticipation of consumption, on someone's plate! Jealous, you bet!!

I bet for what they paid for those lobsters they could have had a cooler flown in from Maine and feasted for a week.

I've only had lobster once and I didn't care for it...too sweet. It was called Rock Lobster...maybe that was the problem. But I wouldn't have any problem putting one in the pot. In LA we had crawfish and in FL we had crab...I could get those buggers in the pot all the time. The crab you had to hold head first for a few seconds or they would climb back out. DH is able to have lobster every Friday night...he's getting tired of it.
