May I add that "volunteers" for charity should never be the object of anyone's bad behavior! How crass and unsophisticated!
I would suggest to cookbook lady that perhaps the reason folks aren't buying her book is A) the bad economy and B) they don't NEED her book
I know I don't typically buy cook books because my family doesn't eat most of what is in them...they like meat cooked all by itself, a starch cooked all by itself and veggies cooked all by itself. I don't need a cookbook for that!
sigh! I'm sorry she had to be such a whiney pants. Did she actually see folks walk past her eisle? Perhaps they looked at what was on the eisle and decided to save themselves a few steps?
How did the fundraiser go? good turn out with lots earned? I sure hope so.
