Awwwwwwwwww, yes. There's no place like home. There's no place like home.
Music camp sounds like a fun one to me.

They don't allow phones at GS camp. They feel that allowing calls home breaks the girls confidence. I don't know about that, I do know that when DD wrote me a letter she felt homesick, but when she didn't have to think about home she was fine. I never wrote home when I went as a kid, so I don't know. But I was always glad to be away from my 3 brothers and the chores.
I know that your LLB is doing fine at camp, but you should do what you're comfortable with. If it doesn't feel right, then it isn't right for you.
I know that by now you're on your way. Hugs

I bet she'll be glad to be home. Music camp sounds like fun. My parents live in NoVa. What a beautiful place. Happy Thursday.

Im guessing LLB is your daughter. Lol I agree, there's nothing like having your kids home with you.

Ahhh...summer camp memories. It's great when you enjoy it, but can be hell when it's a mismatch. Hopefully, even though the mismatch, she still had fun.

Camp is great fun, but I've never heard of kids being allowed to call home, short of something bad.
I'll bet her memories of the time will be fond and she'll be all geared up for it next year!
