My natural masochistic impulse would be to say hit harder. But my impression of the force you can probably put behind a corporal punishment device leaves me feeling that maybe you do just need a body more capable of holding color.

I think I'd have to agree with you Richard. Much more force, and I would have broken his skin. I would enjoy that, but doing so would strip away the control I have over my inner sadist. I'll just have to find a boy that marks up well.
