So if Pauline Hanson was the former Chairman of the Transport Forum, they'd invite her too!

Hey Landers,
surely as a former ALP member you remember how dreary branch meetings where. What is wrong with inviting anybody from any party to stimulate some interest. Hell, why not invite John Howard to stimulate the meeting - the press would turn up and so would everyone else. Anything to create some god damn interest in a branch meeting is good branch policy. Not that you would know as all you ever did in an ALP branch in your days was to simply stack them!

You will note that one of the debaters is one of the most illustrious alumnus of the Monash Law School - ME!
So please come along to the Convention Centre next Wednesday with your "I Love McPerton" signs.

'What do you mean you don't know Bradman's test average? Immigrants need to assimilate into Australian culture'
The Faculty of Law invites you to the 2008 Great Law Week Debate to be held on Wednesday 14 May. Witness two teams of Monash Law alumni debate this topical and highly controversial issue.

Kim Little (BA(Hons) 2001, LLB(Hons) 2003, MA 2003), former World Universities Debating champion and
Shivani Pillai (BA 1991, LLB 1996), barrister and president of the Monash Law Alumni Association
This won’t be easy, as they try to prove their point against the affirmative team:
Meg O'Sullivan (BA(Hons) 1998, LLB(Hons) 2001), barrister and former world debating champion
Roland Dillon (BA 2003, LLB 2006, BA(Hons) 2007), solicitor with the Environment Protection Authority and 2005 World Masters Debating champion and

Dear Victor I will be there with bells on, in the front row, waving my McPerton for QC flag.
Could you please ensure I am surronded by willing attractive young lasses?
I will try to encourage 3AW to bring the OB van for full media coverage of this important historical event.

All a bit rich really. Darren Ray works for the VLGA, the organisation that promotes accountability and transparency. In fact Darren is the Director of Public Policy so it might have been obvious to him that being transparent was the best policy, rather than offering half truths in his response to you. Janet Rice is also the Vice President of the VLGA, a cosy arrangement Darren choses not to acknowledge in his denials. Transparent, sure thing

Janet Rice isn't a very senior person in the Greens at all. She bombed at preselection for the senate at the last election but she's hoping to do bettter at the next election because she reckons it's time a woman had a shot.

The Watsonia Branch invited Phil Cleary while he was MP for Wills despite patriot Kelvin Thompson from the ALP challenging him.
This kind of thing is not new in the SL.

The only reason Darren Ray is a proud proponent of the monkey analogy is that anything that bears its ass in public is bound to appeal to him

Yes. Peter Rice had his dick and balls cut off and had an artificial vagina created. He's now a genuine woman and Janet Rice is a dyke.
