Woopie weed smoking greenie Andrea said that traditionally none of us had air conditioning. I presume Andrea that you mean back in the old days - ahhh I remember those. Weren't they the days when it was hot, kids were able to run under the sprinkler to cool off.
If you are so concerned in keeping our kids in an oven, why don't you leave your airconditioned office.
Also, Andrea if ever you greenies get your heroin injecting rooms - will they be airconditioned?
Andrea Sharom is a friend of Diane Anderson, and has contributed to Higgins News.
Andrea was also interviewed by Diane on 3CR when Diane was a presenter on the Unitarian Program, which airs on Saturday mornings at 10.30 AM. 3CR is also known as Radio Pyongyang.
Diane was subsequently sacked from presenting the program, probably not because she interviewed Ms Sharom, and as is now known from the OC (always first with the latest news as the saying goes) Diane was expelled from that Church (Che's Church) for heresy.
Greens like Sharom are mad. Not all Greens are mad. Some are OK and I think that both Greg Barber and David Risstrom are OK and never would have been as silly as Andrea.
Andrea gives the Greens a bad name and with people like that who needs enemies. To stop a kindergarten getting air conditioning is sheer lunacy. Still, we used to have ALP Councillors as silly as that, and some probably still are.

Whatever is the world coming to when people need air conditioning to survive?

The entire council (inc the ALP, and not just the two greens) was opposed to non-evaporative air con. The Greens suggested evaporative air con, which is more energy efficient and more appropriate for a building where there's a constant airflow from open windows/doors.
But why let facts get in the way of a good Greens bash, eh, Andy?
Greenies hate people. They get off on the thought of little kiddies dying of the heat.
In the past, the kids would have got heat stroke and died. Also in the past, people like Sharam would have been enslaved and forced to work shoveling shit. Today instead, she sits in a council and gives out shit. That's Progress for you.

NIGEL needs to be put in a wooden crate too at 40 c, and lets see what happens when your brain fries...maybe it already was , no excuse today .. about dangers of overheating..long ago when people lacked knowledge about medical and biological advances maybe we can be excused (maybe common sense is too keep cool) avoid kidney damage and heart problems too etc. Gee get real, why not use an airconditioner, why be "macho man' and a dumb focker.
The Extreme Greens are a fucking disgrace. Our recent warm weather can REALLY place a strain on both young kids and old people, and to deny them air-conditioning for "environmental" reasons is not only selfish, it's downright dangerous. If a kid suffers faint, or even dies because of heat exhaustion (which usually results in heart attack), the Greens would probably just go ahead and blame the Evil Capitalists™ for global warming.
