Dean Mighell deserves a heroism award. He's stood up to the ALP bully boys; supported the forgotten West by supporting pre-eminent Les Twentyman in Kororoit; and brought a sense of urgency back to Unionism. Unionism in the Howard years fell into the clutches of right-wing forelock tuggers who bowed and scraped, kissed arses, and talked a lot in tremulous thin voices.
