Like it or not - Briggs has the acumen, discipline and credentials to run a seat like Mayo. The lines of attack are piss weak - he'll outlast any criticism of his association with "bad" policy (and I use that term cautiously, the only "bad" element about them were that more people thought that they were in the last election - idiots) and exhibits more leadership credentials than other wannabes like Babcat Day and Matt Doman (and possibly Trish) Briggs is also acres ahead of other candidates for front bench potential. Face facts peeps - Jamie Briggs is the real deal and muckraking just creates unecessary discourse.
