Victoria Police should look up the relevant sections of the Local Government Act and the Crimes Act which clearly state that Mike Hill has committed and offence by corruptly using his position as a Moreland Councillor to line his pockets with cash.
If you're in the Left of the ALP, the authorities seem to leave you alone (Mike Hill) but if you are in the Right of the ALP (George Seitz, Craig Langdon), the Police seem very eager to investigate.

'tis a joke what ALP members on Council get away with here - the main streets into Moreland are peppered with undeveloped bomb sites owned by dubious characters. The Council has just voted to demolish the old Coburg High School site against the advice of its engineers and heritage advisor. The internal battles for top spot as mayor are a laff. traitors are welcomed into the party and they squirm about like ameoba hoping for a tilt at cuddly carlo, the rabid right to lifer campbell or the template for using council to piggy back into higher office, kelvin "I have a park named after as well" thomson.
