I've looked at the primary results for Newspoll, the government's primary vote is at 41%, which has been the average (around 40%) in the polls for some time.
Also the Greens vote is understated it could be anywhere between 7-10% come election day.
Given a good marginal seats campgain the government could win on little as 48-49% of the two party vote. That would mean a government primary vote of 42-43% only two to three points higher than they are getting in the opinion polls at the moment.

No one denies that the fella dont love to fight, shit he loves to fight so much, he even picked a fight with Howard's battlers and we know how that's going (ordinary or not well).
Best dumb political move since Keating called the electorate soft and deserved a recession.
That 10s hard and the soft is above 55 mate by the looks of it. And Kevie aint started spending yet, all the money pouring in that used to go to the libs.
